Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 20.08.2025
Page Parser ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we safeguard it when you use our Chrome Extension.

1. Data We Collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) by default.
Our extension processes the content of the web page the user is currently visiting, or a URL provided manually. This may include:
- Page URL
- Publicly available text (e.g., news articles, video transcripts)
To generate summaries, translations, or content extraction, the extension may send this content to our secure server, where a language model processes the request.
We do not collect passwords, login data, or sensitive personal information.

2. How We Use Data

Collected data is used only to:
- Generate short summaries or translations of content
- Provide downloadable files with processed results
Data is transmitted securely to our server for processing and returned to the user. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or resale.

3. Data Storage & Security

We do not permanently store user data on our servers.
All transmitted content is processed temporarily only for generating results and then discarded.
We apply security measures (e.g., encryption in transit) to protect user data during transmission.

4. Third-party Services

Page Parser does not use third-party services for processing, storage, or analytics. All processing is done exclusively on our own servers.

5. User Consent

By using Page Parser, you consent to:
- The transmission of web page content to our server for analysis
- Temporary processing of such content solely to generate summaries, translations, or downloadable files

6. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be published on the Chrome Web Store page or inside the extension.
